I was given the great opportunity to attend Puffcon 2025, as a judge of one of the live contests. And I have to tell ya man, it is the place to be.
If you don’t know what it is all about – Puffcon is a block party that was created by the CEO of of Puffco, Roger Volodarsky. It is a big party that happens in Downtown LA, every year. Roger created it ” …as a love letter dedicated to our scene and that’s why we made it a space where we can come together, gather safely, enjoy one another, and give a platform to music acts that help us in this community feel seen.” There are a ton of vendors – from delicious foods to sate your munchies; all kinds off glass and products; as well as music guests and artist.
That’s where I came in. Eric Andre hosted a Rap battle – NO JOKE, it was called “Eric Andre Rapper Warrior Ninja”, and he asked me to be a judge on it, alongside Reggie Watts. This fool had rappers spitting bars while doing obstacles, and even at one point they were surrounded by a bunch of nudists. It was hilarious, nuts, and I had a great time.
