Felipe’s Experience at Skankfest New Orleans 2025
What’s up fools, I was in New Orleans for Skankfest this year. I met some cool fans, got a massage, moshed around, had to work with Butch still and do a podcast but you know, you need to be humbled on the road sometimes, saw a boxing and pillow fight match and got to do a few gigs for the crowd.
New Orleans was a great city to roam around, lots of historic landmarks, ran into lots of comedians there, like Doug Stanhope, Joe List, Big Jay Oakerson, Luis Gomez, Kim Congdon, Sam Tallent, Dave Attell, Tone Bell, Scott Thompson, Shane Gillis, Tony Henchcliff, Doug Benson, Annie Lederman, and so many more I lost count. It was a weekend filled with standup spots, podcasts, a boxing ring and a ferris wheel right next to the Mississippi River, it was the best comedy festival for a comedy fan to go to.
